Lev7
I don't approve any terrorism, including the actions of ASALA. As for Monte Melkonian, he is a true Armenian hero to me. I read his brother's book "My Brother's Road" and recommend everyone here reading it, a truly inspirational book. And first thing I will do when I am in Armenia, I will go to his grave and pay my respects.

archakhper
hehehehe ...good point accelerated ASALA HEY U GOT THE NAME UP YOU SHOULD KNW ABOUT THEM . WHY ARE U ASKIN PPL TO TELL YOU I THINK ASALA WAS A BIG HELP TO LIBERATE THE ARMENIANS READ ABOUT THEM THEY ARE 100 % ARMENIANS MONTE MELKONYAN WASNT WAT U THINK HE WAS HE PROBABLY WAS IN KARABAGH HE SPLIT ASALA IN TWO GROUPS IF ASALA WAS A GROUP THAT DIDNT ACCEPT ANY POLITICAL PARTIES IN THEM ,HOW DID MONTE GET IN , HE WAS A TASHNAGSAGAN , HE AND TAVIT TAVITIAN KILLED VICKEN AYVAZIAN AND KHACHIG HAVARIAN , THEY WERE TRAITORS U WANNA KNW MORE EMAIL ME[ style_images/master/snapback.png I don't know where you get your information from ASALA Van Operation...when you say things like "He Probably was in Karabagh" I don't know if you are just making gramatical errors or if you really have no idea what you're talking about. If you check any reputable Armenian sources that reported on the Artsakh Liberation War you will see that Monte had an immense impact on the succesful outcome of that war. It cannot be debated. He has been recognized by the Armenian nation as a national Hero in the same pantheon as Andranik Zoravar. So please tell us how he was a traitor.
