According to Jhangirian, in his statements Nairi Hunanian so skillfully used the facts of the past connections, contacts and meetings with those persons, at the same time in the initial stage stating them so verisimilarly that "neither the investigating group nor the court doubted in their objectiveness and sincerity". Gagik Jhangirian stressed that regarding Alexan Harutiunian and Harutiun Harutiunian the criminal cases were terminated due to the absence of corpus delicti in their actions, and conformably to Mushegh Movsisian and Nairi Badalian - because of the failure to prove their participation in the realization of the crime. "In all the cases the decisions about terminating the prosecution and stopping the criminal case are motivated by the present legislation and are identical to the verdict of "not guilty", stressed the prosecutor. Gagik Jhangirian also noted that the criminal-procedure codex gives them the right to appeal against these decisions in the higher instance, in this case - in the General Prosecutor's office of Armenia, and in the case of dissatisfaction with its decision - in the court as well. Commenting on the question of a possible order of the crime, the military prosecutor stressed that in his last statements Nairi Hunanian admits that the idea of realizing the crime was completely his. Gagik Jhangirian also informed that upon the end of the investigation the process of acquaintance with the materials of the case will begin, for which by the decision of the head of the investigation group 50 working days have been given. "If at the end of the acquaintance with the materials of the case no well-grounded applications about an additional investigation are made, then the criminal case will be immediately forwarded to court", stated Jhangirian. Ruben Hayrapetian - one of the biggest shareholders of the Armenian tobacco enterprise "Grand Tobacco", was arrested yesterday by the representatives of the Sevan regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia. "Haykakan Zhamanak" paper, with a reference to a source in the law-protecting bodies of Armenia, reports that Hayrapetian's arrest was caused by the declaration of the deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia, the leader of the deputy group "Stability" Vardan Ayvazian, that the bodyguards of the businessman have beat him in Sevan last week. Ayvazian declared that Ruben Hayrapetian had accused him of lobbying the interests of foreign cigarette importers, after which the scuffle began. The law-protecting bodies must either bring an official accusation against Hayrapetian or set him free within 96 hours according to the Armenian laws. Ruben Hayrapetian by the nickname "German" is one of the most odious businessmen of Armenia. He has held the post of the prefect of Yerevan Avan community for a while. After the resignation in 1998 Levon Ter-Petrosian has appeared in public several times, refusing to contact with press. The head of the "21st Century" party, the former leader of the Armenian special services David Shahnazarian also declared that he was the fan of the Turkish team. As was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the Ministry of transport and communications of Armenia, programs of cooperation within the frameworks of TRACECA for 2000-2001 are planned to be discussed during of the meeting. Mutual visits of Azerbaijani and Armenian officials are no longer taken as something extraordinary.
