First of all, I think we should translate it into English. It would lose most of its poetic romanticism, but at least it'd become more accessible to everyone on the forum. Will you? I'm afraid the well aimed arrows of my cynicism will find their way into the translation.

 

My opinion? I think it was an overly romanticized way of saying "Armenians are complete idiots for having the history and culture that they have and yet being a people of such inconsequential standing"... at least, that was my interpretation. Keep in mind, of course, that everyone interprets things like this through the prizm of their own experience.
