On July 6 the Central Bank of Armenia has fixed the following rates of foreign currency regarding dram: 1 US dollar - 548.53 drams, 1 German mark - 266.24 drams, 1 Euro - 520.72 dram, 1 pound sterling - 829.76 drams. PRIME MINISTER OF ARMENIA THINKS UNACCEPTABLE TALKS OF TERRITORIAL EXCHANGE WITH AZERBAIJAN06.07.2000 11.4706.07.2000, MEDIAMAX. "Despite the fact that Armenia speaks for a compromise solution of the Artsax problem, I think unacceptable even the very talks of territorial exchange with Azerbaijan". "Armenia should expect nothing from Turkey before solving its problems with Azerbaijan", with such a statement spoke the prime minister of Turkey Bulent Ecevit, according to the Turkish newspaper "Hurriyet". A CONFERENCE DEVOTED TO THE PARTNERSHIP AND CO-OPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN ARMENIA AND THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES WILL BE HELD IN YEREVAN06.07.2000 11.4606.07.2000, MEDIAMAX. On July 7 a conference will be held in Yerevan, at which the Guide to the Implementation of the Partnership and Co-operation Agreement between Armenia and the European Communities and their Member States (PCA) will be presented. OLEG YESAYAN IS ELECTED THE CHAIRMAN OF THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF RNK06.07.2000 11.4606.07.2000, MEDIAMAX.
