Wonder why your great grandmother from Van is always saying "ter hisus"! Listen to Rembetiko while cursing the Greeks! Truly believe that the Egyptian, Indus and Yellow River civilizations were started by the Turks( you also have your suspicions about the Aztecs!) Never question what that strange writing on the walls of those "Turkish" Christian churches in Eastern Turkey may be! See nothing odd about carrying around an icon of St. George in your wallet, while professing to be a good Moslem! Are convinced that a nomadic tribe of Mongols were responsible for introducing the Mediterranean to the delicacies of dolma, bakhlava and lokhma!
