THE MEETING OF THE PRESIDENTS OF ARMENIA AND FRANCE WILL TAKE PLACE ON JUNE 30 IN PARIS

15.06.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. On June 30, after finishing his business visit to the USA, the president of Armenia Robert Kocharian will hold a meeting in Paris with the president of France Jacques Chirac, was reported to MEDIAMAX in the press service of the president of the country.

It should be noted that during this montn the president of Armenia will have meetings with the presidents of Russia, France and the USA - the countries having the chairmanship in the OSCE Minsk group dealing with the Artsax conflict settlement.

On June 21 a regular summit of CIS will be held in Moscow, within the frameworks of which the meeting of the leaders of the "Caucasian Four" - Russia, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan - will take place. It is more likely that a regular meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will take place in Moscow as well.

As reported to MEDIAMAX a source in the staff of the president, it's not excluded that a bilateral meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Russia will take place within the frameworks of the CIS summit.

On June 27 Robert Kocharian will hold a meeting with the president of the USA Bill Clinton in Washington D.C.

As it became known to MEDIAMAX from diplomatic sources, the official visit of the president of Armenia to France was to take place in 2000, but it has been postponed a number of times due to unstable internal political situation in Yerevan.-0-
