MosJan
TWO NEW HOTELS IN YEREVAN Two hotels- Congress and Ararat, were put into operation at the beginning of this year in Yerevan. As the head of Armenian trade and economic development ministry’s tourism department Arthur Zakarian said, several more hotels and bed and breakfast inns will open in different regions of the republic, including Tsakhkadzor and Sevan. According to Zakarian, by opening Congress and Ararat hotels the number of hotel beds in the country increased by 70. We would like to remind our readers that Armenia received hotels and bed and breakfast inns from the Soviet times with total beds of 30,000. But at present functioning hotels in the provinces of Armenia have about 3000 beds, and there are overall 2500 beds in the hotels of Yerevan. © Copyright AZG
