AL QAEDA COMMUNICATED WITH AZERBAIJAN

Newsweek weekly, quoting US investigation data, presented the number of calls made by the top terrorist Usama bin Laden and several other Al Qaeda leaders from 1996 to 1998, as well as what countries the calls were addressed to.

The total number of calls made is 1.100. Most of all- 238 times the terrorists made phone calls (cell phone) to Great Britain. Second comes Yemen- 221 calls, and third is Iran – 110 calls. The leaders of Al Qaeda were also in active communication with Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Egypt. American experts said there are no proofs that the terrorists made phone calls to Iraq even once.

The head of German Federal Investigation Service August Haning said that there are no proofs that the current Iraqi government had any participation in September 11 tragic events.
