FORMER MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS VANO SIRADEGHIAN WANTED BY INTERNATIONAL POLICE DID NOT APPEAR AT HIS MOTHER'S FUNERAL

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Mother of former Armenian Minister of Internal Affairs, former leader of "Armenian National Movement" party Vano Siradeghian died February 2. Yesterday she was buried in her hometown of Noyemberian. The son was not present at the funeral. As it is known Siradeghian is under international search. He is accused of organizing a number of very grave crimes.

EX-PRESIDENT ATTENDS FUNERAL OF HIS FORMER MINISTER’S MOTHER

Armenian ex-president Levon Ter-Petrosian, former parliament speaker Babken Ararktsian, his deputy Ara Sahakian, leaders of Nor Ughi and 21-st Century parties Ashot Bleyan and David Shahnazarian, traveled on Monday, February 4, to the village of Koti in the province of Tavouss to participate in the funeral of Nina Siradeghian, the mother of the fugitive former interior minister Vano Siradeghian, who fled the country after the parliament allowed his prosecution.

 

 

Siradeghian was accused of ordering a series of high-profile contract assassinations while in office in early nineties. His mother was 85 years old.
