Twenty MPs left after Lord Russell-Johnston told them that the assembly's former speaker, who was killed in 1999, had struck an agreement to give territories occupied by Armenian forces in the predominantly Armenian enclave, to Azerbaijan. The former speaker, Karen Demirchian, was killed in October 1999 along with the prime minister and six others when an armed group opened fire inside the parliament building. --- http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/world/eur...000/1535951.stm
