Arpa
http://www.reporter.am/go/article/2009-02-...erevan-district AH! Now I know where “bangladesh” is. It is a nickname for Sebastia-Malatia district of Yerevan. It is a walking distance from the subway station at Barekamoutioun Hraparak. I Have been there, and can attest to its poor condition., when at that time, due to a broken water pipe the street was a virtual river. Click on “Yerevan” in the following map and see Sebastia-Malatia. http://www.armeniainfo.am/travel/?section=map AMAA buys plot for an Armenian Evangelical middle and high school in Yerevan district Published: Thursday February 19, 2009 Paramus, N.J. - On a recent trip to Armenia, Armenian Missionary Association of America's executive director Andrew Torigian purchased two hectares (five acres) of land in the Malatia-Sebastia district of Yerevan for the AMAA. The land is intended for a school complex. This relatively poor section of Yerevan, often referred to as Bangladesh, has over 140,000 residents. The land is the site of a proposed middle and high school complex. Edited March 6, 2009 by Arpa
