The first prison to provide its inhabitants with Internet pleasures by the end of the year will most likely to be the Sovetashen prison, located near Yerevan. The project is financed by the Open Society Institute (Soros Fund). Other prisons will get connected to Internet next year. The author of the project, the head of TP information and sociological agency Tevos Nersisian said to Armenpress that several military units and prisons in Karabagh will also be connected to Internet. Guest
Can I ask one silly little question? Are all Armenian schools, colleges and universities connected to the internet? If not , what was the priority reason behind this project? ( I guess a political one : Showing the world the 'liberal' and advanced level of Armenian society ). Let us properly educate our children , so that they don't become criminals and outcasts in their lives!
