Official Spokesman for the ussian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrei Nistrinko stated that Moscow received the news of the attack with great concern, affirming that his country condemns the assault and refuses the use force against independent sovereign states under the disguise of combating terrorism. Mr. Nistrinko added that these one-sided shows of strength clearly reflects negatively on the situation in the region. H. He has become obsessed with books of chivalry, and believes their every word to be true, despite the fact that many of the events in them are clearly impossible. Quixano eventually appears to other people to have lost his mind from little sleep and food and because of so much reading. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Campo_d...de_Viento_1.jpg ====== I wish someone would air Alexander Saroukhan's wonderful cartoons. Many of them can be seen in the book above. Btw. in the above picture you can see his own caricature of himself at the riight. garmag
Դոն Կիխոտ-ՓԱՆՋՈՒՆԻ http://ambassadors.net/archives/images/saroukhan3.jpg http://www.stvartanbookstore.com/ProductImages/lg/705_lg.jpg Don Quixote of LaMancha http://www.donquijote.cc/db1/00010/donquij.../DQWindmill.gif http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Campo_d...de_Viento_1.jpg ====== I wish someone would air Alexander Saroukhan's wonderful cartoons. Many of them can be seen in the book above. Btw. in the above picture you can see his own caricature of himself at the riight. In 1956 Sarukhan was visiting Beyrouth. He came to our high school to give us a talk...afterwards the selected caricatures from the student body were presented to him. I happened to be amongst the few that were lucky to have been selected...Our mentor was painter Paul Guiragossian of the "NAFAS". Sarukhan's praise of Kevo Kharabian's caricature of our principle, was an extraordinary feat, earning Kevo the unenviable title of "artist" with typical teenager sus-entendu connotations attached... My poor Kevo friend, who was forever a foreigner because of his Palestinian status in Lebanon, served his apprenticship with Korolef, the Russian painter of many of the Lebanese postal stamps fame. Kevo went on to become a famous furniture creator in Denmark as well as a painter of oils...His premature death at age thirty, left behind a mourning Danish wife as well as a son who today operates a creative advertizing company in Copenhaguen called Caribean...a word play of Kharabian...Some of Kevo's creations still pay royalties to his inheritors...and the last praiswothy article written in the Danish National papers had as title "The forever Foreigner" I still have my caricature with a few words of encouragement from Sarukhan, to pursue an artistic career . Already in Aleppo, my father was a fan of Sarukhan and many laughs were had in our family due to the post 2nd world war booklet of caricatures that Sarukhan published in Egypt.
