Study every day, not all night!

Avoid all-night cram sessions. You won’t understand or retain large amounts of information. Instead, spend time on your studies every day; You will stay on top of your courses and still have time for fun. Use even small blocks of time - you’ll be amazed what you can get done between classes.

Eight Days in a Week

A Formula: 15 minutes every morning reading something spiritual + 15 minutes at lunch reading something career related + 15 minutes before dinner reading self-improvement + 15 minutes before bed reading general topics = 1 Full day of education added to your week!

We are what we do and we are people of habit.

Make your career goals clearer and less complicated and the easier it will be for you to achieve them.

Choosing your subjects

When choosing the subjects for enrolling in college or university, choose those subjects/courses, which interest you. Do not choose those, which somebody tells you to. Pick those subjects, which you are capable of doing. Somebody else may tell you to pick their favorite subjects so that you can be like them. But at the end of the day, it is your education.

What's with all of the educational 'tips'? Someone here planning on going back to school?

Don't most people already know this kind of stuff?

Here's my tip:

When the text in a book looks very blurry, stop trying to read it. You're wasting your time because you're not going to remember any of it anyway. It's probably better if you just go take a nap or something.

Zara jan, we are not the only ones reading this thread, it has come to my attention that there are many 16-18 year old students reading the forum as well, besides... we can never be old enough to learn and sometimes to repeat the things we learn!
