but inch eseren? yes banme ksem yev tun hartsakum kekadaris, inchu amen vaxt inzi insult gnes?

I am not here because someone told me to come here, nor am I here for other reasons, all I want to do is express my opinion, and you guys all you do is insult me from the first minute I came here. How would you like if someone called you Azeri or Turkic? How would you like me calling you stupid and dumb, if you see something wrong in my posts, just simply tell me what I got wrong, and I will try to consider it, this is the reason for a forum, to discuss and make points not to throw personal attacks and insult people for their opinions, I might be wrong in some cases but give me a break are you suggesting that the whole world should think alike? it is not possible to have everyone being on the same page of the book and especially on the same understanding. All I know is you cannot carry on a descent conversation without insulting me.

Try to understand my situation, I live in Finland and I am eager to be our fellow Armenians, and I want your opinions as well, not just your criticizing mine, but yours as well, please be more mature about this.

If you want to have a descent covnersation, then perhaps you should stop talking nonsense by teaching me that Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia are in Caucasus, while Russia is in Trans-Caucasus (before you said Russia is not Caucasus), when I'm telling you that it's the opposite! Stop talking about things that you have no idea about, while trying to teach us about it...giving us wrong info.

Also, judging by the nonsense you were talking in here, I have to say that I know more about international relations and what i've been talking about than you ever will, so stop teaching me things in here, while saying that not only I do no know what I'm talking about, but also calling me 'uneducated!"

When you do not know what you're talking about yourself...it's better if you read and learn, and do not argue by typing nonsense!

When someone tells you about a treaty, which you obviously never heard of judging by the crap you were writting in here, do not dismiss it when someone if giving you information!

Just read and learn!

If you have to make uneducated comments yourself, perhaps stop and think for a second before typing 6 pages of crap in here! If you use a little logic in what you say, maybe I won't call you stupid anymore. It's one thing to argue about things you know, and it's another thing to sound stupid! Arguments are welcome, but not the stupid ones!

I have always thought that Russia is Trans-Caucasus, however I could be wrong on this case, it is something that you can tell me nicely to understand, not lough and critisise and insult me. I wish that people in here would be more mature and be more of a teachers rather then insulters.

Also, judging by the nonsense you were talking in here, I have to say that I know more about international relations and what i've been talking about than you ever will, so stop teaching me things in here, while saying that not only I do no know what I'm talking about, but also calling me 'uneducated!"

I only called you uneducated because you insult me all the time and when someone is talking with insults that means they can never be as intelligent and as knowledgable as you say you are.

When you do not know what you're talking about yourself...it's better if you read and learn, and do not argue by typing nonsense!

When two people have different points of views that doesnt make me uneducated and stupid. I am not here to teach you anything, I am here to learn myself, I exressed my points of views and in return I didn't get any intelligent conversations going on besides you and everyone else critisising me and insuling me.

When someone tells you about a treaty, which you obviously never heard of judging by the crap you were writting in here, do not dismiss it when someone if giving you information!

Just read and learn!

Listen man, I read it several times and expressed my opinion on the treaty you should go back and read it. Just because my point of view is different then yours doesn't mean I don't read and learn

If you have to make uneducated comments yourself, perhaps stop and think for a second before typing 6 pages of crap in here! If you use a little logic in what you say, maybe I won't call you stupid anymore. It's one thing to argue about things you know, and it's another thing to sound stupid! More insults I can only say again, you are the uneducated one because your vocabulary does not have anything more then the words stupid, f*ck, crap and more. I would suggest before you try to have someone talk to you in intelligent manner you should become more intelligent yourself. Your propogandaism is not going to lead you to any interesting and intelligent conversations because you cannot possible be taken seriously, and if someone takes you seriously then they are on the same level as you are.

elle already knows, she's not gonna do it again.

beside, my post was addressed to you. first take care of your..., then talk about the others.

show me where I have used foul language, except in the post where I mentioned that those are the words constantly being used by elle.

it's not for noting we call you kabik(monkey). monkey sees-monkey does.

just because she used the word, doesn't mean you have to do the same.

you could have simply said don't use a bad language.

which I have many times and the constant insults have not stopped, would you please go back and read the whole thing before you start insulting me as well besides how come everyone of you come and critisise me, insult me, and warn me of stuff i don't do and not say anything to those who insult others use bad words?

anyways i am not going to engage in any more conversations because i can certainly see your propogandaism being used in here constantly you don't respect other people's opinions instead you keep on insulting and forcing your opinions, i tought i came to a forum where i can learn something good but instead i have learned that my brothers and sisters are intolerant and certainly cannot appreciate other peoples opinions

Yeah but "EM' is not a separate word is it? So why does it have to be written separately from "HAY"? It doesn't make any sense. Also, I did not finish school in Armenia, but the "EM" and the other "EM" were VERY confusing...We have two "EM" right? I don't have the Armenian font to demonstrate it in here, but you all know that there are two ways of written "EM" and "EM" after the end of the words.....someone should change that and stick to only one type of "EM"

I finished my 7th grade in Armenia and still managed to get an "F" or the grade "2" in all of my writting compositions because I never knew when to write a EM" and "EM" and if we made 7+ mistakes on our compositions, we got a failing grade :) Armenian grammar class was my worst class ever....couldn't stand it actually! I couldn't even write when the teacher would read a text for us so that we can write it down ourseleves...and I was in the 7th grade :) I think that it also had to do with the horrible years of early 1990s when nothing was functioning in Armenia, including the teachers :) all thanks to Levon Ter Petrossian! We had more vacation time than school time, so what would you expect!

Our teachers would hardly ever show up because they were getting paid once every 3 months or so and it was around $10...not joking...in the beginning of 1990s that's how much some people got paid! So the teachers didn't bother to come to school because they needed money for transportation and they obviously had not money to pay for their transportation.

I remember how some people would sneak out of the busses in order not to pay anything...

LTP did a hell of a job fixing our contry! :)

No Elle, that's not fair :) I was in school in Armenia from 1991-1994, during those horrible years, and in Gyumri nonetheless, and was only in the fourth grade when we left Armenia. Yet I did excellently in grammar. The dictation exercises were my favorite in class. I think I did well in Armenian language because I was constantly reading, even in candle light.

Well...our teachers were hardly showing up to school in winter months and at some point our school was closed in winter months. I clearly remember going to school and hanging out with my classmates for few hours, then going back home because no teacher would show up to work! Sometimes one would show up, so we would sit in that same classroom for the rest of the day because she was the only one who would show up that day....We had more vacation time than school time for few years.

Yes, I lived those times as well. Our school was closed almost the entire winter of '93/94. But then once the weather would get better everyone would return to class regularly. And the teachers weren't getting paid. The music schools were also functioning without paying the teachers. So the education never stopped, just the conditions in schools were very harsh.

  • 2 weeks later...

lioneaglearmenia.jpg

Hello again everyone, excuse my absence from this site and topic.

Another set of April 24th demonstrations were directed by Armenian’s across the globe.

Many have been doing this for years and much more are now old enough to understand and interact. I’m extremely proud to see that young Armenian’s are joining with older Armenian’s in a constant readiness to explain to and defend our disbursed ethnicity throughout the world.

This thread in its original form is flawed and doesn’t represent anything more than an excerpt from my overall thoughts regarding various bundled issues Armenia and its Diaspora is faced with today and have been faced with for centuries.

To understand where we are now, we need to look back to where we are coming from, or why we were there in the first place.

Arratta, Ashot and Tigo, it was a pleasure meeting all three of you and I look forward to continuing this topic. So let me begin with setting the foundations of it.

If any individual other than Armenian decent would like to join this conversation, by all means do, regardless of what negative things you might think or hear about Armenian’s, we are a smart, strong, understanding and caring nation.

If you are not Armenian yet would like to join this conversation in a positive way and join our efforts into concluding this topic, again you are welcomed to.

I have but one request which is if you would state your ethnic background and explain your ideas without instigating any hatred.

Hatred will not be tolerated and the administrators will remove you and your posts from this site. Therefore if you want to be heard you must carry an intelligent conversation as the rest of us.

The points of discussion which I believe are some of the fundamental issues preventing Armenian’s from succeeding in the acknowledgment of the Turkish government’s orchestration and involvement of the Armenian genocide. (From here on I will refer to the “Turkish Acknowledgment of their orchestration and involvement of the Armenian genocide” as “our cause” or “cause.”)

Let’s break this down using these following methods:

“Ideas and questions” -(Recognition of the Armenian genocide by Turkish government- How exactly do we do this)

“More ideas and counter responses”- (They did it! We have proof of people and documents and videos, etc. - The pictures and people have helped, but have not solved this issue, we need a new approach)

“Theories and fears”. - (Turkey will eventually give in to our demands and acknowledge the Armenian genocide- What if they don’t, what will happen then.)

“Foreign inspired domestic conspirers within the Armenian government or country- What is their ultimate goal”. - (How do we find them, how can we prove it’s them, what do they want- Who is their employer and what does the employer plan to do with the acquisition of this individual)

I'll end this here; I think we should continue with this list before we begin with the answering process of it. Let’s cook this topic for a few days and divide them equally into the members who are willing to or have enough time to spare on doing some research and concluding some valuable results. Or, we can just work them one by one among all of us on this forum. I state one by one so we don’t get confused and make sure we conclude each one in the best possible way.

Thank you all for your time and have a nice day.
