Born in 1932, July 25, in Yerevan.

She is the daughter of Yeghishe Charents, the greatest Armenian poet of 20-th century. In 1945-50 she has been living in Kanaqer children's home.

A graduate of Yerevan State University, the department of Philology. Her investments in creating Charents's home-museum are very considerable. She is the president of the home-museum's scientific council. She devoted almost twenty years of her life to spreading the literary works and the life story of Yeghishe Charents all over the country. She writes as well and her preferred genre is the novel.
