Arpa
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TNEjnF-r40&eurl= (l find it on the netarmenie.com, sorry if this link is already on the Hyeforum as it was added on youtube in november 23, 2007 -> delete it if it´s the case ) Yes, this video was broadcast before. I don’t remember where, when and under what topic. However, let us talk about it. I hope you did not expect that a Muslim Arab, a Sunni Muslim for that would criticize the “furks”*(99% Sunni Muslim, including the Sunni Muslim Kurds), their “brothers in faith” in favor of that other “infidel Christian Armenia”, and place us with that other disgusting “cult“ that begins with the letter J. And now let us see how that “infidel Armenia” is a part of Christendom. Do you think, when push comes to shove, when the struggle shifts between us and the Kurds hey are going to side with us, the “infidel Christian Armenians”, whether we be Catholic, Apostolic or Evangelical? Yes, we know that some of our clergy have and are elected as chairmen of WCC (World Council of Churches), they talk about “ecumenism”, I.e a union between Catholic and Apostolic, Protestant etc., then turn around and talk about “cults”, meaning Catholic, Evangelical in the same breath when they talk about other disgusting “cults”. Yes, those Sunni Muslim Arabs are calling for solidarity with their “brothers in faith”. What are we doing when we draw lines between Catholic, Apostolic, Orthodox and Protestant? How many other lines of division can we find between us and the rest of the Christian World”? * Under another topic you questioned my use of that term which I did not quite understand. I type it the way I do is to not attract those SOB’s, and more so to make it sound and rhyme like another (four letter) taboo word. Lets us rverse Marc Antony's words wher he says ; "Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears; I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him", Let us reverse it; "I am not here to bury the nation but to praise it" Edited January 6, 2008 by Arpa
NoComment
Arpa, I did not expect something that´s why I went surprised watching this video, it was the first time I did personaly see and hear a muslim speaking and defending the "case" of the armenians in public Everything is done with and by interest, that what bothers me the most, specially when in the name of some christians values, figthing for justice which we want universal, fighting for the memories of our Martyrs we succeed to developp unacceptable behaviours between us (division) and we are competing against others I did afterwards understand the reason of the use of the f word, I didn´t know that even here this may have an incidence ... I did use at the begining this simalar way of mentionning this people in an another forum (armenews) in order to avoid furkish advertisers as the google advertising system is activated ... Anoushik
I have to say that I'm impressed. I didn't know that they were civilized enough to let the Egyptian writer voice his stern criticism on the Muslim and Arab stance on human rights.
