Under the title "You say map? Here is the map!", the newspaper announces that currently circulates on Internet the map of "Enlarged Turkey" in response to the maps showing Turkey divided, in particular that presented by InHomage.com. Meanwhile, InHomage announced that these are the borders established in 1920 by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson at the time of the signature of the Treaty of Sevres. November 22, 1920 President Woodrow Wilson signed the Arbitration Award marking the Armenian-Turkish border. Besides, the Treaty of Sevres divided the Ottoman Empire in mandated territories. Palestine and northern Iraq with Mosul and Kirkuk areas went over to UK, Cilicia was passed to France. The mandate on Western Armenia was offered to the U.S., however, Congress refused to ratify it. Meanwhile, the Arbitration Award has no period of limitation and can’t be appealed in international courts. -------------------------------------------- This goes to show how important it is for the world community to recognize the Armenian-genocide... Yeah! If those furks still think they are the world's premier cartographers, and that we are still living in Ottoman times, where they can extend their shittily poisonous tentacles all over the Middle East, Syria, Iraq and Armenia. They better wake up (erdogan=early riser) and realize that Osman is dead and Ataturk hit the kakaturd, that no one in the nighborhood will let them draw a larger map. Wait till we redraw the map of Nakhjavan and tell those furks where to go. The furkish word for "ghost" is (Arabic)Ruwa/dream, from eher our word "ourouwakan/ghost/skeleton" comes from. AZG Armenian Daily #217 24/11/2007 International On November 16, Baku took place the 11th Forum for "Friendship, Brotherhood and Cooperation of Turkic States", which was illustrated in November 17 publication of "Azg". Emphasizing the impact of the forum on the Armenian reality, political reviewer Levon Melik-Shahnazarian says that Armenia's domestic and foreign affairs will not be affected so seriously by Turkey-Iraq-Iran relations and the events in Georgia. According to Melik-Shahnazarian, during the 11th Forum the representative of the Turkic states for the first time considered the idea of establishing an international governmental organization, regulating their joint foreign policy. According to the political scientist, this was a serious counter-measure against the Armenian propaganda and a serious step for Turkey's policy of defaming Armenia. On the Forum Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan named Samarkand, Bukhara, Krikuk and Nikosia among territories rightfully belonging to Turkic nations. Levon Melik-Shahnazarian explains that the aforementioned territories are rather the targets of Turkish aggression, which may be unleashed in the forms of political and economic blockade as well as demographic intervention. In any case, the delegates of Turkic states named their targets, leaving aside Bashkiria and Tatarstan, which are still remaining a part of the Russian Federation. Commenting on the recent events in Georgia, Melik-Shahnazarian says that the recent events in Georgia shall not bring much change to the Armenian-Georgian attitudes. He assures that Georgia's stance about Armenia shall remain the same as in the times of Gamsakhurdia or Shevarnadze. Exploitation of the Kars-Akhalkalaq railroad was another part of the economic blockade on Armenia, and Georgia had no moral right to take part in it, the political reviewer says. He notes that in the Azerbaijani press circulates information that Tbilisi may be exempted from the liability to repay $200 million, granted to Georgia and necessary for the construction of the railroad, in case the ports of Poti and Batum function with loss. According to Melik-Shahnazarian, the 200 million credit was a kind of bribe to president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili, which will most likely remain in office after the extraordinary elections on January 5, 2008.
