Click on the "Looking for" sign. People from Turkey are searching for their relatives. The Turkish section has more entries than the English.

I didn't know whether to post this under Diaspora or Genocide.

Why is it that, all these years Istanbul Armenians have placed themselves above all the others, have claimed that their turk-Armenian is the standard of pure Armenian, claimed that turk-Armenian is the heir of "grabar" Hi Shahan! And now, when they feel the heat, that that turkish hamam/kitchen is getting too hot, they are looking for relatives hoping to find a way out????

Ther are many "mutaf-oghlu-s" in the diaspora. Why does not he get the "furk" out? Is the Armenia patriarchate/facktiarcahate superior to the Greek Orthodox one? Why don't they both concede that they lost the war when they resisted that their male appendages not be subjected to the furkish knife? And now. Their heads above the neck is being subjected to "circumcision".

Yeah, yeah! We know Istanbul is the Capital of Armenia, just like Beirut, Moscow,Tiflis and Glendale. Why don't they the h*** out of there? Is it beacuse they're gonna lose their homes and property? Do they know that we, the Kiliketsis and Western Armenians not only lost our homes and property but also our lives? If only we would rid ourselves from being the slaves of the kakoman/ottomans??!!!

Where were we when Daiel Varouzhan, born in Brknik/Sebastia, and Siamanto from Akn Kharberd desided "armenia" was too narrow for them and moved to Istanbul? And now, when we feel that Istanbul is too hot and too narrow?? When will Glendale become too hot? Is it when Chico decides that the town is not "big enough" for both Armando and Armen?

So now you want to chase the Turkish Armenians away. -_-

Me no understand. Under/ներքեւ stand/կանքնեմ :P :D

"chase Turkish Armenians away"?

Chase away who from where?

I don't think you understood my message above. Please read it again.

It is about the "Taparakan Hay/Wandering Armenian".

Armenians have been abandoning their homeland since the days of the Roman/Byzantine Empires, and more so durin the Ottoman Empire, perhaps in search of "better pastures" so to speak, assuming that the "grass ids greener" on the other side. They have been abandoning their villages and moving in droves to Conatantiople/Istanbul and beyond. The trend has not stopped, it has, once again intensified.

Did you open the site? Di you see that most of those looking for relatives are looking for relatives in Paris, New York and Glendale. What if those relatives happen to be in Yerevan? Will those seekers decide to leave Istanbul and move to Yerevan? Will they even consider to move back to the so called Western Armenia, like Van, Ani and Agori? Or will they opt to move as far from Yerevan as they can?

"Yerb or batsvin drnern houso, yev mer yerkren pakh ta dzmer**

Chknagh erkir im Armenio...

Tsankam tesnel zim Kilikia/Istanbul/Glendale...?"

Wher is Yerevan anyway??? :msn-cry:

** Read, "pakh tam esteghen/run away from here".

Sorry. You're not chasing them away. You're alienating them. Remember Shahan, Gor-Gor, Elia...?

Remember when you chided SakoPaša for defining Armenian-ness by religion, specifically Armenian Apostolic Christianity?

As for Glendale - worry less about the Armandos and more about the Archies and Arnolds. ;)
