Philadelphia Soldier Killed In Iraq

PHILADELPHIA (AP) ― An Army combat engineer from Philadelphia has been killed in Iraq, the Pentagon said Friday.

 

Pfc. Adam J. Chitjian died Thursday of injuries he sustained in combat in the Iraqi town of Balad.

 

The graduate of George Washington High School in Northeast Philadelphia was on his second tour of duty in Iraq.

 

He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 1st Cavalry Division based at Fort Hood, Texas.

I feel too bad for this young promising Armenian guy and his parents as I also feel for the 4,000+ beautiful American guys who died also. Those beautiful young souls died and for what? Because of Bush and his aggressive colleagues.

 

It is devastating for us Armenians to see more losses of the blood of our brethren shedding; but I also feel for all the parents of the young boys who parished in the Iraqi deserts for the sake of aggressive people or aggressive countries. It seems all they wanted to do is to be destructive and fight fight fight for their behalf. :angry:

 

What about all the other Armenian people in Iraq who parished ever since this war started? It's very disheartening and utterly sad.

Astvats hogin lusavori. Its very sad.. I agree with what you wrote, but I also feel sorry for those innocent Iraqis that die every day, especially children, who have done no harm to anyone.
