Nor Hayastan
They come through Georgia. The border between Armenia and Turkey is closed. ok Eurocentric. Someone in Armenia told me that turks could bring shipments in through the border. Coming through Georgia is also another option. I'm probably wrong in assuming it was from turkey then. Eh guys... vonc qcenq brrnenq... Armenia's future is again up to it's natural resources, which it doesn't have much of unfortunately. Our competitive advantage globally is IT and education, but to what extend can we expand these sectors, I don't even know
Aratta-Kingdom
Nor Hayastan, the good old days are gone when the turkish trucks could enter Armenia. The Armenians, including the government, have already said no to cheap turkish products. You probably don't remember the poisoning cases we had in Armenian because of turkish products. Our competitive advantage globally is IT and education, but to what extend can we expand these sectors, I don't even know If you saw them on you're way to Stepanakert they were probably Iranian tracks. Or entered thru Iran. Geographically speaking it doesn't make sense for a turkish truck to be in Vayots Dzor. It's closer for them to enter from Georgia and drop off the load in Yerevan, then let the local truckers do the rest of the job. I've seen your pictures that you posted here, I actually use one of them as my desktop background. I also remember seeing a picture of an Iranian truck... unless of course if there was another truck. As for the our resources. We have one resource that our neighbors lack and thats highly educated population.

AVO
The problem is that they are seeking means to leave the country. If they haven't already. Actually, I know few people who have returned. Edited April 22, 2008 by AVO

elle
CSTO MEMBER STATES COMMITTED TO HELP A PARTNER SUBJECTED TO AGGRESSION The regulations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization read that the CSTO member states are committed to lend a hand to their partner subjected to aggression, CSTO Assistant Secretary General told a news conference in Yerevan. Valery Semerikov reminded that in October 2007, the CSTO heads of state signed a protocol on military and technical mutual assistance. “If necessary, we will act accordingly,” he said. The CSTO brings together Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Uzbekistan, which quitted GUAM two years ago, filed in application for joining the CSTO again. So how are they going to intrude now? Hoping to fight only the Armenians? I say good luck to them!

So how are they going to intrude now? Hoping to fight only the Armenians? I say good luck to them! Can you imagine Uzbekistan, who has identified Armenia as an aggressor against Azerbaijan in Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) would come and fight against the Azeris? That is a pipe dream. none of the Turkic republics would respect the CSTO agreement on this issue when such time comes. Russia and Belarus would be the only ones, if it serves their national interests. This is a sham of a group. We should only rely on our own strengths, that means to find a way to not rely on Russia a 100%.
