The sixth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks is marked as Patriot Day. Liturgies will be chanted throughout the country. At 8.46, when the first hijacked plane crashed into one of the Twin Towers, the U.S. President and the White House officials will honor the memory of the victims with a minute of silence.
