In today’s' world it is hard to imagine any type and form of conservation as an attribute to progress and/or success. Our common ideology should be striped from partisan ideals, denominational preferences, and the outlived Eastern-Western clash in the Armenian context (the last one being the most brutal in our history). Wake up and realize that Byzantium is gone so as mighty Persia, so as the Ottomans and the Soviets. The common Armenian ideology should evolve around having a superb economically and military strong Republic, capable of protecting the welfare of the Armenian citizens and the billions of dollars that would pour from the Diaspora, liberal and open society (not necessarily democratic - if you sense the controversy I will explain later)), and realization of our political goals in unification of the Armenian homeland around the four corners of Ararat, but not at the expanse of more losses and destruction, rather by offering better standard of living and dignified human development. The common Armenian ideology should evolve around not only preservation of our cultural heritage, but also expansion of our culture as the dominant culture in our region (and not only, but also around the globe where Armenian communities exist).
