HaYaStAnRuLeS
my 2 cents worth: i have often heard "dle yaman" translated into "my lamentations", due to the pain and sorrow expressed in the song... However, since "dle" does means "heart" in persian, and since "yaman" IS A PURELY ARMENIAN expression used centuries ago to express "lamentation", you could also say "my heart's lamentations"... just felt like clarifying... Harut
...since "yaman" IS A PURELY ARMENIAN expression used centuries ago to express "lamentation"... hmm...doesn't really sound too Armenian to me.plus, why do we also use it to mean slick (if i'm translating it right).'bayts du shat yamann es!' Stormig
Yaman means "stud" or something like that in Turkish, hence the expression Harut brought in.
