They are not simply translating God to Allah and Bible to Quran .. they are INSERTING Allah in places where neither God nor Allah were intended to be. There was another controversy not long ago in Palestine , where Hamas took the Mickey Mouse figure (the controversy was more about what was allegedly said in that Mickey Mouse show , which it turned out was completely wrongly translated by MEMRI , but the idea of taking such cartoon figures and 'adapting' them is the same ) . Anyway I do not see what is the whole point of doing this , if kids are going to watch these things , then they can watch them with no alterations , and if there is any sort of objection , like people say it is a zionist plot or something , then why even alter / adapt it to begin with ? can't they come up with their own cartoons / shows ? if they are so much into "genuine " Islamic teachings / shows for kids , etc., and have animosity towards the west , why even bother with the products of the west ? this is the stupidity of the Muslim world , Islamic countries cannot see their hypocrisy , and what is worse , they are not aware of how stupid they are appearing . Arpa I was not the one who started this thread , so what are you trying to say . i did not even post in the thread until i saw my name mentioned . yeah this is HYEforum , and allow me to remind you that I am Armenian (notwithstanding that you or others might not consider me one ), and there are also other issues that are talked about in this forum from what i can see , and not only Armenian issues . for example the paintings thread (we are supposed to only post Armenian paintings just because this is Armenian forum ?) and the music thread , and so on .
