I know the AYF and a few other organizations also have summer internships all over Armenia. I did one in 1999 through the Armenian Assembly - worked at the Foreign Ministry. I did one in 1999 through the Armenian Assembly - worked at the Foreign Ministry. I'm planning the same in near future, but I am not sure where I should intern in Armenia. What were your tasks at the foreign Ministry? Could you please tell me more about your experience there? I may get an opportunity to intern at the Ministry, but I may be faced with few other choices. Thanks in advance.

_femme333_
I'm thinking about an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Yerevan next Summer (2008). I know some of you had that experience before, so could you please share your experience and thoughts about it? I ahd number of people tell me that I should consider somewhere else, other than the Foreign Ministry, because the Foreign Ministry isn't the same anymore. She told me that the place is full of low class people and any idiot gets hired there nowdays. I also checked the AGBU site to see what they are offering, and looks like they have Summer internship in Paris through their organization. I think I might be interested in that too, depending on the costs. Has anyone done the AGBU Paris internship? Are there any other interesting internships in yerevan that you've heard of? I'm looking into working in the government only. Edited June 20, 2007 by _femme333_
