A Question About Talin Area

I am hoping that someone can give me some help on this subject. I sponsor a 10 year old girl through World Vision. I am allowed to send her small gifts - things that do not weigh very much or have much value as they do not want to pay customs duty.

It is pretty obvious when people need the help of World Vision that they do not have much of anything. I need to advice on what would be a good thing to send. What about panties etc. My granddaughter is 13 and she always likes underwear. I thought maybe a pretty headscarf, but my granddaughter what would they do with a headscarf. I myself think that children who have nothing would like anything luxury and pretty.

As I know about Armenia I really would appreciate some advice on this subject.

while i agree that "children who have nothing would like anything luxury and pretty", i would recommend to send something of necessaty not of luxury... people in need think much less about luxury and pretty things and more about being able to afford the most basics for welfare... sending something of necessaty would make one less burrden on the soulders of the parents...

sorry for not naming a specific item...

and thank you for your support...
