Eurocentric
Byzantine Empire had both Greeks and Armenians... Well yeah, unfortunately Armenians ignore their Byzantine heritage That's despite the great research done by Adontz and the Greek professor Peter Charanis hailed as the father of Byzantine Studies. gamavor
Btw Gamavor, using the same logic the Assyrians of the Assyrian Church of the East can say that we broke off from Orthodoxy as they never recognized the Council of Ephesus which we did! Nope, it is not the same. The Council of Ephesus was basically against Nestorius who tried to do what Chalkedon did - hijacking the Orthodoxy. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/05491a.htm
