MosJan
Hiko jan Sold Out Vol.2 is one of the best CD’s of 2002 - work has ben don on it - in some way’s it’s the preview CD - it’s giving you a hint on what you might see in the stores soon Hako jan - no offence - but - ripping songs or asking for some one to send you a copy of the song - it’s not nice – specially wan GTAK video is one of the supporter’s of this web site - GTAK has worked hard to bring better quality products - Something like 50% of the Best audio and video products in the market are produced by this two brothers – and their still working hard to bring you the best of the best – no offence but why would you hurt your fellow Armenian or hurt his business – specially wan you like the product that this studio is producing, do you at list know haw much $$,$$$ is involved in producing such CD ?? I guess not. Let me give you a hint / over 50 singers + musicians …. In Armenian have been working on it for 7 months, yes in Armenia not in USA – most 90% of GTAK’s products are product of Armenia - Hako jan don’t be offended – it’s not only you or me – many are doing this and it is hurting not only the producers but most of all it’s hurting the Artists and everyone who works on a project like this and who depend on the $$$$ that’s send from USA. AML
Dear MosJan,This is exactly what we have found for the short time we have been online. No one is willing to PAY for the artist's original CD! Everyone wants it for FREE!, as soon as you mention 'Please Buy the CD', they are outta there...On top of this, they all expect QUALITY music and songs...it is very hard for both FREE and QUALITY to co-exist with each other. Sad.

Haik
armenian music library, how exactly is the things you do any more legal then just someone ripping songs off of a cd to their pc. I wanted to hear what the song sounded like in full, and Iam sure that ill buy the Top Ten rabiz 5 cd as soon as i can. But what your doing is worse, your ripping, and providing it to others online, and on top of this your trying to make money for yourself...unless your gonna send each singer his/her rightfuly royalties..which i doubt..and another thing, in armenia, it is VERY hard to find authentic cds, and that is how money is made, there are many cd shops with all copied cds... KoRn
What's there to like about Top Ten of Rabiz? It's funny how some Armenians take that crap seriously. For me, they're just making fun of all the popular songs of that time, nothing more. But considering Grisha a real singer or an artist is embarassing and funny.I don't understand how people go to his concerts like he's some kind of a star or something. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with listining to his songs just once, for some laughs, but buying his CD's & VideosI don't think so. KoRn
The same goes to Tatoul (national embarassment), Vatche, Artash Assatryan (major crap), Tigran Jamkochan (lol), Adiss, Andy (what the hell), Armenchik (king of rabiz), Shavo & Hayko (amota amot), Armik, Nersik Ispirian, Afon, Armen Aloyan, Hambik Hambaertzumian, and many many more.I don't understand who lets these people sing. KoRn
Thanx Azat jan We do have very good singers (very few in the states). The names that i mentioned above do not represent Armenian singers and Armenian music. One of my favorit Armenian singers would be Tatevick. I love her vocals. AML
This requires a new thread, but never the less. The cost of having a site like Armenian Music Library is much more than web hosting costs. We have most contacts and our intention is to pay royalties to all artists, other wise we might as well close the site or call ourselves a 'warez' site. Our current web site is already filled over 10Gb! To cover costs we had to introduce subscription costs, and that charge will include royalties.Having low quality songs did not attract any sponsors to the site, nigther did listening to low quality songs did attarct any original CD buyers to keep the site going. We have not had any subscribers, yet, and we are not acepting any at this stage anyway, until we work out all copyright issues. We were expecting this (everyone wanting everting for free). This gave us more live report on our expectations and a new direction for the site, hopfully to come up with win-win situation.
