The President was so impressed, touched, and amused that he instructed his secretary to send the boy $5.00. Mr. President thought that this would appear to be a lot of money to the little boy. The little boy was delighted with the $5.00 and immediately sat down to write a thank you note to GOD that read: "Dear God, Thank you very much for sending me the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Washington, D.C., and, as usual, those BASTARDS deducted $95.00.

khodja
The Old Republicans wanted to get the tax man out of your pocket. The Old Democrats wanted the tax man in your pocket so they could play Robin Hood to house and feed the poor. The New Republicans want to get the tax man somewhat out of your pocket, but definately want the tax man out of the major political benefactor's pockets, as long as there is enough $ left to buy war toys and fund religious organizations. The new Democrats still want the tax man in your pocket, but are fighting to keep the hand of the government out of your personal life. They want the government out of your personal religious perceptions, outside of matters of your family and outside of your bedrooms. They don't want the government to tell women what to do with their bodies. So, Azat, we have one party with it's hand in your pocket and the other trying to control most of your other life decisions.
