Please pardon me if you deem this post to be too stinkingly smelly.

We have talked about Ara Geghetsik on many occasions . It may be time talk about the other Ara,, Արա Տգեղ, Ara the Ugly.

 

Hi Ara:

 

What you just wrote is funny and yet it isn't really funny; yet it is a reality. You speak such as the realities of our very life and our world. How true, for I can relate very unfortunately of two cockroaches right in here.

By opening their cockroachish mouths or by bullying me they think they are in control and the better people; but in my mind they don't come close to being good. What do they know about me? for they know nothing, nothing at all. They don't know the good life I lived and the very good life I plan to continue to live.

And Ara; I wish you all the best things in life and in your endeavors!!!!!

 

Anahid, regardless the fact that you are relatively new here and you may have met Ara recently, could you be so kind to translate for us the, “dumb Armenians” who may not be as masterful of the English language what it is that you may understand that we, the common mortals/հասարակ մահկանցու-s have missed. What it is that has eluded us which you seem to understand? What is it that he has said is new since 20-30 years?

Have you asked Ara as to when it was he lastwent to church, or for that metter, the time he ventured out of his bedroom? Please show us, the “dumb Armenians” one GOOD thing he has said in all those years.

With “friends” like him who needs enemies. He may be capitalizing on the cliche of that great American philopsopher PT Barnum who is suppsed to have said, many dispute it, that "A sucker is born every minute". Yes many Armenian "suckers" are born every minute and they may call Ara "Mama". Wake up all ye suckers. He is neither mama or papa. He is just a poopa!

Beside everything else he has been constantly hammering on our “ottomaism”. Tell us about it! How much more “ottoman” can one be than having a surname like “balioz-kak-oglu-ian? Does he even have the decency to armenianize his surname, or does he enjoy wallowing in that sh*t?

We will come to that.

Some time ago I read his all time masterpiece. Can someone please urge him to repost it…. The “Shithouses of Yerevan”?

The most ironic of ironies is that he has never been to Yerevan, yet he seems to know everything about the “shithouses”.

Yes, yes. We know, his all time hero is Kostan Zarian. If only Kostan knew who would pick him as a model…!! RIP Kostan.

Kostan has contributed so much value to our literature and psyche.

Below my rendition of what Ara may have wanted to write but did not dare, or had the creative imagination.

Ես իմ ապուշ քաքաստանի քաքանման քարն եմ ատում

Մեր հին քաքի հոտաւետան քաքակումած քաքն եմ ատում

 

It is amazing how a “cockroach” with a pen or a keyboard can create such cacophony//քաքոֆոնի!!!
