Arturian
Guys, amazing ... I am sitting in library and there is one black girl next to me. She went away from her computer and on her desktop there is System of a Down wallpaper ::: ))) These guys are becoming big around the world. One greek guy also told me about them. :: ) What kind music are they playing? Antichrist - anarchist staff or just normal rock ? Do they have their own website? khodja
Artur, "SEEK, SEEK and you shall find." Those are the words of Jesus. The more you seek, the more you will find that the Antichrists are those in charge of organized Christianity and the Saints have been relegated to the garbage bin. Do not fret, however, I can sense that Jesus will be soon returning to correct all this.
Juggernaut
I'm not a metal/rock fan, but their music grew on me prob because of the Middle Eastern tang. They have very unique music..... Site is www.systemofadown.com
wh00t
ARTURian, their music is not anti-Christ at all. It is very intelligent metal, if you can call it metal.. very melodic at times.

wh00t
highflyer, the concert is tonight! Originally, I was supposed to go last night, but since tickets sold out so fast (55 minutes), they opened up another show... which sold old even faster than the first (about 30 minutes)! Can you imagine, 4500+ tickets in 30 minutes. Anyway, I decided to go Saturday instead of Friday. I'll let you all know how it went.
wh00t
Here is the review I post on the System board, enjoy. Ok. The night opened with MSI who, after each song, got booed more and more to the point where at the end nearly everyone was booing. They didn't deserve it though, they weren't so bad.. they play their own music for sure, although I could have done without the guy keep sticking his fingers in his ass and crotch, and then performing the end of the show in a see-though bra-thing and his boxer briefs. What's up with the drum thing, there were like 2 drums and a cymbol. Anyway, the band didn't seem to mind the bad response, the lead singer just started making jokes about Canada and French people. Not bad. Now Clutch, I liked them less. They weren't bad, but if I had to choose, I'd be booing these guys instead. What the hell was that, country music posing as metal.. the guys are clearly hicks, and the guitarist has man-boobs. Hmmm. The crowd seemed to moderately like them though, no booing, very light crowd-surfing. Now the moment of truth. SOAD had like this long, unusual piano/chant intro that seemed to last forever, I think it went for like 20 minutes... finally they came on and the whole place blew up. They were so incredible, my voice is now totally shot because I was screaming all the lyrics to every single song. A lot of people looked at me funny, especially as I sang the lyrics to Honey, many people were all like "this guy has been singing all the lyrics to every single song". However, I'll give SOAD that they got me on that very last track, after PLUCK (which they dedicated to the memory of the Armenian Genocide, which Serj said was perpetrated by the government of Turkey which continues to spreads lies about the event). Was it a cover or what? Not Temper, Blue, ChickNStew or anything, it was completely different. Anyway, the pit was ****ing insane, shoes getting tossed around, people get tossed around, someone threw a sweater that got caught in the camera used to film for the DVD. Also, Daron seemed to be coming around, although his back was still turned for much of the show (with half his ass showing), but he nailed the Needles solo and was in good spirits. He made us chant **** THE SYSTEM. I took a look at the setlist just now and I think everything was played except for Soil. You Montrealers are pretty cool, but you won't make the playoffs anyway. - Daron
