Guest
Since we have had some discussions since Thanksgiving(Thankstaking?) Day about Native American culture, here is a recommendation for music. Walela is a group of three Cherokee young women, (who are not too bad on the eyes, but I digress!) who sing like angels. Their music is in Tsalagi(Cherokee) and English, its a mix of Country, Gospel, Bluegrass and Indigenous sounds. Their first album is incredible, they do "Amazing Grace" in Tsalagi. The newer album is good, but suffers from the usual second album syndrome. You can probably find their albums at Tower Records, or better yet Borders under Folk music.
