Hey Gamavor!

You are demoted. ;)

This is a palace coup.

I nominate Daniel Decker as King of Armenia.

:king: :king:

Hello indeed and Norits Barev.

Dear Dan, let me congratulate you and express my sincere gratitude for a wonderful program/collection.Of course thaTer Voghormia at Geghard brought tears to my eyes.

All the clips are excellent in their own right. Many of them new to me. The most wonderful is Kilkia that you sang at Sidney. May I ask who your language/diction coach is ? Not only your diction is perfect, better, if I may say than many native born Armenians. What is more, your pronunciation and diction is so correct when you sing ; “Erb or batsvin drnern huso…..” (Note the consonants ) while many so called misguided Kiliketsis, I being one, would butcher and decimate those words as … “Yerp vor patsvin trnern huso…”.

Thank you for all you have done and are still doing.

And Sip, did you notice that Dan has hijacked your anthem, Ghapama? :P :D

Hello Arpa!

The version of Cilicia you saw was one of my first perfomances of the song. I think the diction is much improved now that it was then. I worked on the diction quite a bit and many Armenian friends offered valuable advice on pronunciation. The biggest challenge was reconciling Eastern and Western Armenian.

I have now recorded the song in a new arrangement for a new CD I am working on. Every song on the CD will be sung entirely in the Armenian language. I also plan to include an Armenian version of "Adana" and "Noah's Prayer" (also known as Moush). Several other songs have already been chosen and I am in the final stages of recording a duet with a great singer from Yerevan. I can try to keep everyone updated as it progresses.

Dear Dan,

I may not have made myself clear. Your diction is excellent, it is the correct way, don't any one tell you differently. Let me repeat. It is just as you sing "ErB or Batsvin Drnern.... Please note the the Bs and Ds . Don't let anyone tell you that they should be Ps and T's. You have it right no matter what some so called Armenians may tell you. Don't change it.
