rostom
Has anyone had any experience with ProjectSAVE (http://www.projectsave.org)? On their website they note that they have over 25,000 Armenain related photos, yet none of these are accessible via their website. I have emailed them a couple of times in the last 2 weeks to see what one must do to get access to the photos, but it appears that my emails have fallen to deaf ears. MosJan
Rostom - the 25.000 pictures are not on the web site "Founded by Ruth Thomasian in 1975, Project SAVE Archives' extensive and diverse collection of more than 25,000 photographs, as well as its growing library of oral history audio tapes, depict all aspects of Armenian life in the homeland and Diaspora, from the 1860s to the present day." rostom
Rostom - the 25.000 pictures are not on the web site Yes i kinda figured that Although, one would think a link titled "Virtual Photo Museum" would mean that they are on the web. I'm trying to figure out how one goes about getting access to these photos. Does one have to make a visit to the organization's office or do they email the photos or mail them? And do they charge for them? etc. etc. Edited December 20, 2005 by rostom

phantom22
Ruth is a nice woman. She lent us pictures for our Armenian Club exhibit during my time in college in Boston. Ruth is nice to whom she wants to be and not nice to those she doesn't want to be. Given your comments here in this Forum which reveal your beliefs, I can see why she was nice to you. phantom22
So are you implying that I'm not nice? Rostom, Your sequencing is faulty. I am speaking of Ruth and HER belief system. If one falls within her purview of acceptable beliefs, she is nice to you. If one does not fall within that purview, her behavior would be markedly different. Besides, I was responding to Karakash's comments, not yours. phantom22
Given my comments which reveal my beliefs? Huh? What are you talking about? Ruth likes TRADITIONAL Armenians, tied closely to the bosom of the Church and not questioning authority. I think that you fit that bill.
