Arpa
Where is Hagarag, the undying , protagonist of American culture of (state prescribed legal) death? Did the cat get his tongue? Armenia has no capital punishment. The reason why Ocalan is still alive is because the EU’s first and foremost condition was that Turkey abolish the practice. Turkey In a truly significant move last month, Turkey abolished the death penalty. Human Rights Watch warmly welcomes this important reform and urges other OSCE participating states to follow Turkey?s lead to establish the OSCE region as a death penalty-free zone. Yet, of all the nations of the world the US still has the practice on its books. Of all the states of the US, Texas, the backwater state of GWB still holds the record of the highest number in the art of “state sponsored murder” of execution, at times of innocent citizens. Is it because he below has a darker skin than Arnold or GWB? Do we hear that Hagarag has volunteered his services to throw the electric switch, tighten the noose or administer the deadly cocktail? http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/11/30/williams.execution/ State's high court won't spare Williams Schwarzenegger could still stop execution of gang founder Wednesday, December 7, 2005; Posted: 10:39 p.m. EST (03:39 GMT) Stanley Williams is seen here in a 2000 photo released by the California Department of Corrections. SAN FRANCISCO, California (CNN) -- California's Supreme Court Wednesday refused to stop the execution of convicted killer Stanley "Tookie" Williams, the founder of the Crips street gang who became an anti-gang crusader while on Death Row, a court spokeswoman said. Williams' attorney, Jonathan Harris, told CNN he was disappointed by the court's 4-2 decision. But Harris said he plans to make a compelling case before Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger or his staff at a December 8 clemency hearing to commute Williams' sentence to life in prison without parole. Schwarzenegger or a federal court could still intervene to stop the execution of Williams, who would turn 52 December 29. Azat
Let me fist say that I am against capital punishment... however it is funny to me how today he has become this great angel who is teaching kids to stay out of gangs. Is this country so weak that a criminal like Williams is going to teach the kids to stay out of gangs.
