gamavor
I often wonder if there is such a thing as "Armenian propaganda". My understanding from what I read (be it in English or Russian and Armenian - news, reports, etc..) is that there is no such thing as Armenian propaganda. What however is abundant is inaccurate (often false) and most likely misleading news reports by PAN Armenian network news. I will take note of the last incident with TIME Magazine. Needless to say that I will urge all my friends and acquaintances to drop their subscription and not to trash their money in buying TIME magazine. What concerns me though is the apologetic tone of the representatives of the said magazine after the reaction of the Armenian organizations in Europe and America. This infamous DVD full of outright lies created by the Turkish propaganda machine under the guise of Turkish chamber of commerce finally was ousted and TIME made an effort to apologize...(too little too late) but apologize to WHOM??? To the Armenian communities? To the Armenian people? Or maybe Republic of Armenia? Isn't the Armenian history equally important to all of us? Where were the representatives of the Armenian government and mass media and how they reacted if at all to the DVD distribution? Wouldn't it be more appropriate for TIME to apologize not to the Armenian community, but to Armenia?
