Guest
Interesting...my CD actually says volumes 1 and 2 on it. His catalog is as wacky as he is, apparently. It looks like they did what I suspected; they took his first two albums, eliminated some songs and came out with one CD. Ahh, good old PE-KO...where would crappy Armenian music be without them and Parseghian??? A few years ago, I went to PE-KO to buy any old LPs they still had laying around and the store that had the vinyl albums burnt down [This message has been edited by Pilafhead (edited October 18, 2000).]

The first time I've heard a guy from our office singing it was after the 1998 New year holidays. So, I just remember that. Actually, all the Eritasardakan subway station "zapisnocner" were playing it all day long in february and march 1998, so I hated it too. Even though we may know արա may mean take/ԱՌ/do/ԸՐԷ;http://hyeforum.com/index.php?showtopic=29435&pid=274160&st=0entry274160 It is assumed to be of Georgian origin… ծուլի , տոլա , ծօլա originally meaning son/որդի/տղայ Here is how it ends up as ara, from այ տղայ to ատ ա and eventually «արա». In other words ara means ԾՕ. **Remember that in some dialects they use «Լա տղայ/ լա տղոյ» which ends up as լատօ/lato, and finally as lao/Լաօ. **Ara means "ay tgha/ at-ta/ara"=Tso/ԾՕ= Hey you!!!
