Armat
http://video.freevideoblog.com/Player.aspx...F8-21B041422F93 Here is the text that came with the video: This is night vision film footage from Iraq, showing real live action against Iraqi insurgents. The pictures were taken from an AC130 Specter gunship (plane) two and a half miles away. The guys in the picture are setting up a roadside bomb and planning to ambush an American convoy which followed a short while after the pictures were taken. They were setting up for the ambush and were pacing off the distance from the bomb to where the convoy was to pass by. Turn your sound up. The level of effort the AC-130 crew put forth to control the enemy's antics is commendable, and their marksmanship with those electronically controlled 40mm cannons is astounding. I wonder why. I think that 3rd guy might have lived, the gunner went for the truck, I don't know why, he had a clear shot.
skhara
I saw this footage last year. Where did you get the info that they were setting up a road-side bomb? And if their eyes see what we see, how on earth did they positively ID the thing as a weapon? And what exactly were they doing with what is claimed as weapon dumped in somewhere in the field, while they were no where near? And why is there a kid running around? Yes that guy skipping and hoping does appear to be a teenager. And pay attention with what happenned just before they got 'smoked'. Over on the left, the older man appears to have kissed the teen on the cheek, then the kid proceeds to skip and jog over to the other side. As soon as the teen gets 'smoked', the man on the left waves. He didn't just take cover, he actually exposed himself to wave. Pay attention. This man, got 'smoked' while waving. Finally, what was the necessity in taking out the last man when he was practically rendered immobile?
Armat
I had few questions myself about this mainly that the gunner is asking permission to shoot from the command center but he decides to shoot first then ask questions later. I was really disturbed how easy it is to wipe out life.

How did u make up that was a kid? by height? what was strange is why are they running before the shooting. Running away is a sign of guilt. skhara
They were running away before the shooting? They looked like they had no idea anyone was aiming at them. They could have very well been setting a road-bomb, but maybe not. After the fist guy was hit (I assume he was a kid because - yes he is shorter than the man on the right, the man on the right kissed him on the cheek as Arabs do, and because of the way he was skipping around) the man on the right was obviously attempting to signal and comprimised his cover while doing it. Bakersfieldian
The weapon dropped by the running man is without a doubt an RPG. I'm no fan of killing but these guys had to be taken out.
Bakersfieldian
I think most people feel the same way. There's plenty of bad on both sides and very little good. The Russian soldier clip you mention was one of the most horrific things I've ever seen (and I've seen too much). For those of you who haven't seen it, I highly recommend you DO NOT. I first saw it a couple of years ago and it still sickens me. For me, it brought to mind what happened to my mother's grandparents at the hands of the turks. All 4 died pretty much the same way in front of their children. I my self have lost the sense of whets wrong or not I just don’t know - if sadam was good or bad if USA & UK are doing the best for the interest of Iraq or not - if what mujahedins are acting out of revenge or what …………….
