The only question I have is "when is she going to have a concert in LA?" I know this has nothing to do with Armenian music, but since so many Armenians like Googosh and all her songs are written by Armenians I thought I might post it here. Guest Posted July 23, 2000 Report Share Posted July 23, 2000 Yeah, so it is really true! Googoosh already left Iran, and is going to perform in Canada in August. Then I believe she will come to the LA area. Looking forward, as I grew up listening to her songs. Also, the rumors of her being half-Armenian still persist, so is she really? HEr bio says she was born in Tabriz, grew up in Tehran, it is implied her father was Azeri, but it basically says little about her mother, other than she passed away when Googoosh was young. Also there is a bit of a debate on Cyberiran(uh oh, maybe I need to come up with my famous "Original topics" if we are reduced to this!) about whether Andres Agassi is really Armenian or Assyrian.
