Maral Posted April 23, 2005 Report Share Posted April 23, 2005 The Los Angeles County Arts Commission is pleased to announce that we have posted on our website 120 paid internship positions that will be available at nonprofit performing, literary, municipal, and local arts agencies this summer through the Los Angeles County Arts Internship Program. These positions, as well as program and application information can be found on our website at http://www.lacountyarts.org/internship.html . Internships are 10 weeks in length for 40 hours a week and will be scheduled for a ten-week period between June 1st and September 2nd. Interns will be paid $350 a week for the ten-week period. Students should apply directly to the organization that is hosting the internship for the summer. Contact information for the organizations is provided on the website. Please note the eligibility requirements of the program: Students must be currently enrolled undergraduates with at least one semester of course work completed and who will not graduate before December 2005. In addition, students must either be residents of Los Angeles County or attending school in Los Angeles County. Students do not have to demonstrate a previous interest in the arts to be eligible. We would encourage you to have students majoring in any subject to look at the variety of opportunities available.
