ARMENIA TO OPEN TRADE HOUSE IN PERM

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The representation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia will soon open in Perm, as soon as a Trade House. The agreement on that was achieved in the course of a meeting of Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia Martin Sargsian with Acting Governor of Perm region of Russia Oleg Chirkunov, who is in Yerevan on a visit, Regnum news agency reported. In a conversation with journalists M. Sargsian noted that agreements are signed between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Armenia and Perm region. These provide for exchange of information over commercial proposals, contribution to the holding of business meetings, organization of exhibitions and more active cooperation between regions of Russia and Armenia.

KOCHARIAN MET WITH ACTING GOVERNOR OF PERM REGION

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian President Robert Kocharian has met with Acting Governor of Russian Perm region Oleg Chirkunov, the Press Service of the Armenian leader reported. In the course of the meeting Robert Kocharian welcomed Oleg Chirkunov's initiative for creation of conditions for active business relations between Armenia and Perm region. In his words, the experience of cooperation Armenia has with a range of Russian regions shows the initiative can be productive. In his turn, Oleg Chirkunov noted that the Perm powerful Armenian community is a good guarantor of establishment of cooperation with Armenia. The interlocutors discussed the possible directions for cooperation.

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Gegham Gharibjanian met with Acting Governor of Russian Perm region Oleg Chirkunov, reported the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia. In the course of the meeting the interlocutors discussed prospects of development of cooperation between Armenia’s regions and subjects of the Russian Federation, specifically Perm region. Gegham Gharibjanian noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s latest visit to Armenia, as well as the holding of the Year of Russia in Armenia will convey a new impetus to the bilateral cooperation in all fields. An agreement on development of trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, specifically on exchange of information on produce of Perm and Armenia and contribution to contacts between business circles of the parties, was reached.
