DominO123
AzerTaj March 21, 2005 TURKEY TO PRESENT TO UNITED NATIONS HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SO-CALLED QUESTION OF ~SARMENIAN GENOCIDE~T [March 21, 2005, 20:01:36] Chairman of the Turkic History Vagf, professor Yusuf Halacoglu, in his interview to the "Milliyyet" newspaper said they would send the historical documents on the events happened in 1915-1919 in the Ottoman state to the United Nations. At his words, all the documents are based on the facts and figures related to number of the Armenians and Turks involved in the armed conflicts. The documents include archives of the Ottoman state, as well as England, France, Germany and the United States. The Archives prove that in 1915, in the Ottoman State only 100 thousands Armenian have died as a result of the armed conflicts, diseases and other reasons. Along with that, in 1915-1919, in the territory of Ottoman, 519 thousands of Turk were killed. In 1921, out of the exiled Armenians, 644 thousand 900 Armenian have returned to Turkey. The rest have moved to Syria, France, USA, Greece, Russia, Iran and other countries. Te policy of exile was not applied towards all the Armenians, professor Yusuf Halacoglu said. Many Armenians held high positions in the government, served in the army and engaged in trade at that time. In this case, it is impossible any "genocide". On the contrary, if there was "genocide", it was committed by the Armenians against the Turks. ------------ I would have never believed that anyone could have beaten Ataov in his imbecility... I apologize to Ataov, the one replacing him, the best psychiatrist in the world could not treat, even with high doses of Haldol injection. Interesting though, he raised the figure of Armenian losses from 56,000 to 100,000... must have been the result of another bunch of new 15,000 documents. Note here how he uses the 519,000, the same series I have reported a falsification in it not so long ago(the entire complete analysis could be found in Wikipedia Domino analysis ). If anyone here knows Halacoglu email address send him an invitation to Hyeforum, I have wasted a good amount of money for false publicity the so-called work based on 15,000 documents wasn't one... I want my money back.
gamavor
I just wonder how come Armenians commited Genocide against Turks and yet 90% of Armenian territory is under Turkish occupation and virtually there are no Armenians left in old Armenia? I also wonder how a Christian minority that was banned from possesing weapons in the Ottoman Empire commited Genocide against Turks. With sticks and shovels? I also hope that Turkey will become member of EU! Revenge, sweet revenge!

You know what? I think that the Armenian scholars should have made an exception in their boycots to discuss with denialists to "exchange" those documents at Vienna, Halacogly is a clown... his numbers of Armenian losses are even lower than Talaat sacrastic statment of 300,000 Armenians. This guy is the least credible of all denialists I have read the material of, he even beats Weems, and now he leads the Turkish governments denialist teams. I can't say that I don't like that, it makes their claims even more ridiculous and expose their lies for any Western specialists in the field to witness. But of course, only morons like McCarthy could be fooled by the Halacoglus of this world(in a conference in Turkey, McCarthy called Halacoglu the clown, his colleague).
