MosJan
STUDENTS BOOSTING COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIES A contest organized by the students of American University of Armenia enriched Armenian Internet with 10 more Web sites. "Internet is a more fast and cheap way of divulging information and communicating. I am sure that the day will come and many more people will prefer it to TV or press. Such arrangements enrich the Armenian Internet", Anush Dulgarian, first year student and 2d place winner of the contest, said. The Web site her team presented dealt with constructing straw houses that are much more cheap and stable against quakes and fire. Anush noted that the Union of Blind Young People of Armenia turned to them asking to make the Union’s Web site. "We’ll gladly help them with the site to make their voice hearable to the world", she said. "Students are free to choose any Web site for the contest. They choose very unexpected themes, from sites about moon to birds of Armenia, from poetry to jewelry", Martin Minasian, teacher of computer-literacy, said.
