nairi
Actually, there's a lot of folk every year. A few years ago a Russian (Alexander Abt) danced to Ara Gevorkian. I know you're joking, but it is possible...
nairi
11th place for Armenia in Ice Dancing. Not bad at all. They've progressed immensely in the last few years. I remember them not getting through after the short program a few years ago, and now they're almost in the top 10! Congrats to Anastasia Grebenkina and Vazgen Azrojan! Let's hope they inspired more young Armenians to skate. Edited January 28, 2005 by nairi

nairi
Sonia Radeva for Bulgaria skated to the same track ("Artsakh" by Ara Gevorgian) just now. A lot Armenian music is used each year. A few years ago, the Gladiator soundtrack with duduk was popular. Yagudin and Abt skated to it. I wonder what happened to Abt. He had an Armenian coach...
