Its also funny how some Armenians have the name "Manuel"! Like this poor guy! Mrs. Mardikian went to get the mail. Nothing but bills and junk,as usual. THen her eyes fell upon a letter: Guadalupe Gonzales1211 Calle Ocho Bogota COL, 4555 Manuel Martinez Colonia Bolivar 1211 Armenia COL. -Es incha? Namak Manueli hamar, bayts es inch lezu a? Italieren? Spanieren? Yev tsukhal anun a gure:Martinez, betke "Mardikian" guri. Mrs. Mardikian stared a long time at the mysterious letter. The first name was correct and the last name was close, but the address was wrong. But was this some coincidence or a devious plan? She was dying to open the letter and read the contents. Her curiosity got the best of her. She opened the letter carefully. It began Mi querido Manuel,Cuanto te extrano! Te amo mucho mi amor... -mi amor? Bayts es nuin bar a asum Manuel inzi! Sovorav yep vor gunats Spania. Chem haskanum incha gure es akhchik, bayts es bar imanumem! Mrs. Mardikian was now convinced her husband had a secret lover! She was ready to kill him! -Armine jan, vordekhes im sirelis? That was Manuel Mardikian, little clue did he have of the wrath in store for him. -Barev im jigar, inch bes er ko oru? Inch a batahe? Ban mega? -Incha batahe? BAN MEGA? Chem manum, gootse vor Guadalupe aveli lav imanum a ban mega te che! -Guadalupe ova? Arab a?-Vay! Ches imanum? bayts tukh irar "mi amor" es!-gartsumem vor me kich gini es khume gunik! -ari, es ko namakuna! Garta inch kakhsur baner ga mechu! Manuel Read what he could. He knew a little Spanish to make out the main idea of the letter. -Nayi gunik, es sukhala hastse. Gurela "Colonia Bolivar" yev gurela "Martinez" che vor "Mardikian." -HA, el inch, inch harmar! Bayts "Manuel" a gure! Es ko odar gunikuna! Yev Spanyatsi! -Bayts im sirelis , nayi... inch bes garokhes.. While Mr. Mardikian tried to wiggle his way out of this predicament, thousands of miles away in Armenia, Colombia Mrs. Martinez went to the mail... -ay pero que es esto? She opened the letter addressed to Manuel, but they wrote the name wrong, "Mardikian" instead of "Martinez." She was curious who wrote to her husband so she opened it. It was in a completely different characters that Mrs. Martinez had never seen before.THen her husband, Manuel came home from work. -Donde estas mi amor? -Aqui estoy mi viejo! -Como estas Maria mi vida? -tu vida? TU vida! Puedes explicarme que significa esto? She showed him the letter with strange writing. He, of course, could not make heads nor tails of it. The envelope was written in English though. The return address was from the United States and had the name "Haik Hovsepian" (who happens to be the cousin of our poor Manuel in Armenia. By the way who was Guadalupe in all this?) -Quien es Haik? Es muchacha verdad? Sabes que? Creo que tienes una amante China, porque estas letras parecen chinas. Cobarde! Sin verguenza! Afterwards Mrs. Martinez began to run after Manuel with a machete, a necessary weapon in that part of Colombia! BY the way who was that mysterious Guadalupe?
