It just happened Japanese is equally difficult. Although the sounds are easier than Chinese but you gotta learn 2 character systems instead of one. I mean one characer system and one alphabet, right? But definitely Japanese sounds more like a language than the Chinese All laguages are difficult I think. It depends on person which languages becomes difficult... Are you paranoiac to the point of believing that one day China will invade the world, so you told yourself that Chinese will have some compassion for you when locking all of us in giant concentration camps, when they hear you speak their language? If someone writes it he's gonna become the next Ray Bradbury. Domino jan, I use it on a daily basis. You can say China is my bread and butter. So, knowing the language is crucial. Just because nobody had to learn Hindi for India because Indians all know English doesn't mean the Chinese do (or can even pronounce ).
