And in the in-home and small networks area, wireless is taking over everything ... especially with new standards like 802.11g boasting around 54 Mbps data rates, but also because it's so much easier to setup, manage, and use ... not to mention the "wire-less" aspect of it which allows more mobility Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CIA used it to transfer data during the soviet times. Several providers in US have this but has little chance to successfully compete against phone companies.
