UNESCO to consider including Armenian epic poem in Intangible Cultural Heritage list news.am December 02, 2012 | 08:26 UNESCO will hold a meeting next week to select new items, among them the Armenian epic poem `David of Sassoun', for the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The seventh session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage will take place in Paris from 3 to 7 December. The agenda of the session included the examination of almost 60 nominations. Last year the Armenian khachkar - `Armenian cross-stones art. Symbolism and craftsmanship of Khachkars' - was included in the Lists of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
