Hello,
My parents and I were born outside of Armenia (Uzbekistan). Not only I've never played the instrument, I never held it in my hand. There are very few Armenians, in Uzbekistan, that can play it at all. I always liked the music, but now that I am in US, I got to learn more about Duduk. Ability to get famous Armenian artist's CDs got me to love the instrument and the music to the point that I want to get one. I will be happy just by having one on a shelf, or something, but I want to try to learn playing it.
I just learned that there are several keys (kinds) of duduks. As far as I understand every key represents a specific sound that you can get out of the instrument, so I have some questions about that:
1) Is there any place I can go on the internet to find out how every kind of key sounds? So that I can choose one that I like and buy it.
2) Is there any difference between them accept the kind of sound? Is it harder to learn to play some specific keys?
3) I was looking on ebay for duduks and I really liked how this two look:
for some reason I can't post links in it. when I post ebay links it send you to an error page =/.
basically if you go to www.ebay.com and search with a keyword "Duduk"
they are almost on top with these preview images:

These duduks are by master SIMON (Andranik Simonian). I think both are the same, accept one is engraved. A nice addition is that the seller adds a shvi and some other useful stuff. They offer different keys for each one of them, so I can choose which key later when I decide on the keys. Is one of these two choices are OK duduks for a beginner like me?
4) Anything else I should consider?
If someone could answer me those 4 questions I would be very thankful!
I would also listen to any kind of other notices or suggestions with a great appreciation.
Thank You.
